The team at Greg Campbell DDS is proud to offer crowns, bridges, onlays, and inlays using cutting edge CEREC technology. Our experienced dentists have treated patients at every stage of tooth damage and loss, and CEREC makes it easier than ever for us to perform treatments rapidly and efficiently.
CEREC is an advanced system of technology that our office uses to plan, fabricate, and place durable dental restorations. This state-of-the-art system allows us to create crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays in just one simple office visit.
The CEREC process begins with Primescan, an intraoral scanning device that sets new standards in dental scanning technology. Unlike messy, goopy impressions, the intraoral scanner easily captures high resolution images with precision. Dr. Greg Campbell and his use these images to carefully assess the condition of your teeth and plan your restoration treatment.
Each detailed image of your mouth is then sent to our CEREC milling and grinding unit, which immediately fabricates your customized dental crown, bridge, inlay or onlay.
The CEREC technology is so advanced that it grinds and mills restorations to perfect detail in an average of 4 to 12 minutes. This means you can get a complete crown in just one visit without any temporary device or follow-up visit required.
Crowns and bridges are both important restorative dental procedures for damaged teeth. A dental crown is a permanent tooth covering used to extend the life of a damaged tooth. A bridge, meanwhile, fills the gap created by a missing tooth by anchoring itself to surrounding teeth.
Our CEREC technology makes it easier than ever before to receive a crown or bridge treatment. In as little as one hour, your Greg Campbell DDS team can take detailed images of your mouth, fabricate the customized dental device you need, and install into your mouth. All of this is possible without the need for a temporary device or multiple follow-up appointments.
Inlays and onlays are dental restoration options for teeth that don’t need full crowns, but are still in need of repair.
Instead of taking the time to create our inlays and onlays in an off-site dental lab, we fabricate your customized solutions right here in our Long Beach, CA office using the CEREC machine.
Only the trained eye of your dentist can assess your mouth to determine whether you need a crown, bridge, inlay, or onlay. The professionals at Greg Campbell DDS are here to use our most advanced technology to restore full health and comfort to your mouth as quickly and efficiently as possible.
